Starr joined The Manor in 2023, straight from Leeds Beckett University where she studied Events Management. Now, three and a half years into her role, she’s become an important part of helping couples bring their wedding plans to life.

What Starr enjoys most is all the little details that make up a wedding day; from the overall colour palette to those personal touches that guests notice and love. For her, the most exciting part comes in the final few weeks, when months (and sometimes years!) of planning start to become a reality and everything begins to fall into place.

Behind the scenes, Starr’s approach is calm, reliable and attentive. She believes a great wedding at The Manor is one that feels completely effortless for the couple. There may be plenty happening behind the scenes, but the couple shouldn’t have to know about any of it; they should be able to relax, enjoy themselves and soak up every moment of their special day.

It’s often the personal details that make Starr’s favourite wedding memories. One that stands out was a couple who featured their beloved dog in their table numbers, with photographs of them doing various random and funny things. And when couples are worried about setting up their own personalised items, Starr is always happy to help, whether that means taking care of everything herself or simply lending a hand where needed.

For Starr, one of the loveliest moments of the day comes a little later on, once the cake has been cut and the first dance is over. That’s when she loves seeing couples truly relax, let go of the formalities and get on with enjoying their night.
