Richard Hedley

Richard began his training at Scarcroft Golf Club and after four years at Cookridge Hall Golf Club, Richard joined The Manor in 2002, where he gave more than 10,000 golf lessons during his five-year spell with the club.

In 2007, Richard became Head Professional & Golf Manager at Woodhall Hills Golf Club before returning to The Manor in 2013, where he is now Head Professional & Director of Golf.

For Richard, one of the most rewarding parts of coaching is seeing players improve over time. He enjoys working with all types of golfers, from complete beginners and juniors to players returning to the game, golfers looking to improve their handicap and competitive players wanting to take their game further.

Richard believes that keeping things clear and straightforward helps golfers understand what they need to work on without making the game more complicated than it needs to be.

With exceptional facilities that continue to improve year on year, Richard believes The Manor provides a great place to learn, practise and play golf, whatever your experience or ability.
