Mark's been part of The Manor team since 2018, bringing over two decades of experience as a qualified PGA Professional and a wealth of knowledge from his career in golf and performance coaching.

Mark McGeehan
Mark's golfing journey began at the age of 11, when he discovered the game while playing in a school field. Using oversized clubs, he accidentally hit a window - an unfortunate shot that turned out to be the best worst shot he ever hit. His parents soon realised that the school field probably wasn't the ideal place for him to continue playing golf, so Mark joined Chipping Norton Golf Club as a junior. It was there that his career in golf began.
Today, Mark is a PGA Advanced Professional, PGA Fellow Coach and UK Top 50 Performance Coach, with a Diploma in Sports Psychology and specialist experience in junior golf development. His approach to coaching is based on the belief that every golfer is unique, with trust and confidence between player and coach at the heart of the process.
Mark enjoys working with golfers of all levels, from complete beginners and juniors to competitive players, golfers returning to the game and those looking to improve their handicap. He's also passionate about inclusive coaching, helping golfers with different needs and abilities get the most from their game. For Mark, coaching isn't about taking a one-size-fits-all approach; it's about understanding the individual, identifying what they need and helping them develop with purpose.
His coaching combines the physical, technical, physiological and psychological aspects of golf, helping players better understand their game and make changes that are both measurable and meaningful. Above all, Mark takes great pride in seeing the results of that process first-hand and helping golfers achieve things they may not have thought possible.

Junior Golf Group Development
Junior golf is particularly important to Mark, having started his own journey as a young golfer. Champions of the Future is his way of passing on the encouragement, support and opportunities that helped shape his own career, while helping the next generation develop both their golf and the life skills that come with it.
Every Saturday & Sunday Mark holds group coaching sessions specifically for junior golfers:
5 - 10 years: 9am - 10am
11 - 16 years: 10am-11am

Inclusive Coaching
Mark is passionate about making golf accessible to everyone and has dedicated part of his coaching career to supporting golfers with different needs and abilities. From coaching disabled golfers to working with England Ladies Deaf Golf, he enjoys finding ways to communicate, adapt and help every player get the most from their game.
